Job Description
Tencate a world leader in monofilament synthetic grass production is seeking professional Engineering manager with a preference for extrusion experience for its Dubai facility. Experience working in an environment managed by 5S, Lean Manufacturing (Green Belt preferred) Quality Management Systems and a culture of continuous improvement is a must.
Ideal candidates will have 10 years plus experience in a manufacturing environment with the last 5 years in a Management role. Candidate must have extensive knowledge both manufacturing processes (preference for extrusion) as well as experience in equipment design. Candidate should have experience with equipment refurbishment including mechanical, electrical, Plc and automation design. Experience with optical monitoring and a keen interest in Internet of Things technology would be an asset.
Ideal candidate will also have demonstrated a track level in the development of their staff and personnel with a focus on Continuous Education, staff mentoring and coaching as well as a documented track record of development of their former personnel for promotion.
