-The Review and approval of the EPC documentation for the Piping discipline.
-Provide engineering oversight, leadership and direction to contractors piping and layout discipline engineering team.
-Collaborate with other project team members to comply with project requirements and meet project schedules
-Provide technical support to external design resources, equipment vendors, and fabricators, as required
-Co -ordinate the Pipelines deliverables review and ensure timely return of all reviewed deliverables to the EPC Contractor.
-Travel to fabrication mills for meetings, inspections and functional tests.
-Implement the application of Company, regulatory codes and standards and good engineering practice
-Ensure EPC Contractor compliance with Company Technical Integrity and HSSE standards.
-Advise on the use of standards, practices and design guidelines.
-Ensure that the design meets the approved project specifications, industry standards and functional requirements including compliance with -Company Project Principles, Engineering Technical Practices and associated guidelines.
-Ensure that a clear direction is set with respect to -Project design, delivery of engineering, procurement and construction is in accordance with the project schedule.
-Provides technical and project support during construction and operation of facility
-Specifically The Candidate shall have hands on experience in:
-Planning, document review and approval processes for all piping design, purchasing documents.
-Piping routing and plant layout using 3D model software with specific regard to process, stress, operability and constructability.
-Construction support, Site Survey techniques, site queries, variations resolution, red line documents and mechanical completion packages.
-In Addition the Candidate is required to be the technical Authority for:
-Facility Plot Plans, piping material specifications, -3D model production and reviews, piping layout, pipe supports and stress analysis.etc.
-Piping Material Selection and Material Testing requirements
-Pipe valve Selection and Material Testing requirements
-Requirements for and design of Burial of piping
-Processes for the fabrication and construction of pipework
-Cathodic protection of piping-
-Welding specifications for piping .
-Piping Coatings
-Piping Induction Bends
-Insulation Joints
المهارات
-Bachelor of Science in Engineering, or equivalent
-At least fifteen years’ experience as a Piping engineer, with knowledge on Gas, Condensate and LPG processing facilities.
-Experience generating specifications/drawings and requisitions..
-Proven previous experience with oil & gas industry and advanced knowledge of ASME codes,
-API standards, and other mechanical engineering related industry standards is preferred
