Main responsibilities of the role include:
- To manage the departments project plan, ensuring an integrated approach across all areas of delivery within the department (Ceremonies, Daily Productions, Creative, Operations, Technical) and ensure integration of the project with the IOO and organisational planning initiatives;
- Work with department Directors to ensure the Production Company contractors are meeting the centralised monitoring and reporting of milestones and deliverables for the Project;
- Manage the risk management framework and ensure the contractor’s compliance with reporting appropriate risk mitigation measures and contingency plans;
- Manage structures, policies, processes and reporting frameworks to ensure effective and efficient reporting to meet any internal Governance processes;
- Manage the development of the departments Incident Management, WHS, and Emergency Management plans to ensure integration and alignment with organizational wide policies and plans;
- Lead the departments planning for assets & dissolution to ensure alignment of our production contractors with organizational wide policies and plans;
- Management of event time policies and procedures that will apply to the project delivery, support the Director with any budgeting and financial requirements, where required;
- Lead coordination of any requirements of Expo Readiness and testing related to Ceremonies and Daily Productions and lead a strategic development of the event time daily meeting and reporting methods for contractors.
المهارات
6+ years’ experience in project management, production and events, as well as:
- Bachelor’s Degree;
- Experience with planning and delivery of large scale Ceremonies and shows and knowledge of Mega Event operational planning and delivery;
- Experience in delivering large, complex programmes of work and ability to manage, direct and coordinate a wide range of people at differing levels of authority;
- Ability to develop positive relationships among internal and external stakeholders, peers and senior management;
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and ability to lead a team that supports several internal departments on key issues;
- Displays the highest levels of integrity and commitment;
- Excellent negotiating, communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal);
- Flexible, resilient and positive through organizational growth and change.
