Working across multiple projects to provide the role of a BIM model manager.
Working with Mace BIM team on BIM role out to meet the UK Government 2016 BIM Mandate and company Ali360 Policy.
Acting as BIM information manager on projects to comply with PAS 1192-2:2013 requirements imposed by client under BIM Level 2 requirements.
Assisting with the appointment of design teams on BIM enabled projects.
Writing BIM strategies and BIM execution plans (for bids and live projects).
Assisting with procurement of subcontractors on BIM enabled projects.
Acting as model manager on projects working with design teams and clients to define BIM deliverables and carrying out model federation on projects.
Integrating models (federation of native models) and producing clash detection reports and manager clash detection meetings on site with project teams.
Working with clients to define FM (asset information model) outputs and help mace teams with handover of information to client as BIM level 2 requirements (6D).
Working with Mace teams to provide 4D programme and logistic outputs on live projects.
Working with Mace BIM team to develop the 5D (cost model) outputs and how we are going to leverage the use of BIM in providing better cost certainty on projects.
Working with Mace BIM team to develop method for using models for package scoping (as 2020 innovation group)
Working with Mace BIM team to align Conject to output to COBie as BS 1192-4:2014 requirements
Assisting the business with BIM role out as an active member of the construction BIM working group.
The requirements
Your experience, knowledge and skills need to include:
Previous working experience in a similar role.
Experience in design review process, model management and clash detention.
Knowledgeable on BIM standards and contract documentation with an eye for detail.
Primary software skills in areas of model authoring, model federation and model time lining.
Experience in using software such as Revit 2014, Navisworks full suite and Solibri.
Qualifications
A degree qualification or equivalent is preferred.
PAS 1192-2: 2013 trained and understands the output which are required to provide level 2 BIM on public sector projects to comply with UK government 2016 mandate.
Professional memberships are an advantage but are not essential.
