This is a full-time position in Dubai and will report to the MD.
The key responsibilities of this role are:
1- Working with the senior management team to develop a training strategy for TenCate and ensure alignment with the business strategy.
2- Recommend a variety of learning solutions to stakeholders in line with best practices and within company’s training budget.
3- Develop a framework that encourage a continuous learning culture where employees share knowledge across teams and continue developing new and innovative processes and ways of working utilizing self-directed learning.
4- Develop training modules and content which encompasses the principles of Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen to support the company’s continuous improvement program
5- Working with both staff and the senior management team to develop course content to be delivered to all employees for company safety standards, manufacturing procedures and processes, company policies and behavioral standards.
6- Develop both an external and internal pool of training resources to develop specific subject matters. Ensure all external resources are qualified and review all content prior to presentation to ensure it meets company standards.
7- Develop and maintain the company’s onboarding program for training new hires.
8- Develop internal resources through a train-the-trainer program and supervisory development program
9- Assist the senior management team and human resources team with training development plans for key employees to assist with individual development plans.
10- As required deliver course content using a variety of internal and external resources as well as deliver course content themselves.
11- Maintains new and ongoing relationships with external vendors
Qualifications:
1- BA in Human Resources, Business or a related field.
2- 5+ years of experience designing and delivering training in the soft skills area
3- Exposure to training a wide range of audience from various nationalities and backgrounds.
4- Ability to adapt positively to a changing environment and shifting priorities
5- Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to deal effectively with different levels of the organization.
6- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
7- Working knowledge in e-learning and blended learning tools and strategies.
8- A certification in L&D;or adult education is considered a strong asset
9- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus. This is a full-time position in Dubai and will report to the MD.
