Our client is now recruiting for an Economic Researcher. You will be directly reporting to the Senior Manager-Economic Research
Job Purpose
To conduct high quality economic and business research that is relevant to the company members with the view of supporting the company to create a favorable business environment, support the development of business, and promote Dubai as a global business hub
Key Accountabilities
• Conduct the whole cycle and process of economic research in order to produce and publish economic reports and informative bulletin pages and briefers
• Process and analyze data relevant for insightful research
• Prepare other studies and reports as required
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
• Manage and ensure effective implementation of departmental policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of assigned section activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost- effective service
Continuous Improvement
• Managed the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction
Reporting
• Ensure that all sectional reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet company’s requirements, policies and quality standards
Others
• Other relevant task of the job purpose when and if required
المهارات
Qualifications & Experience
• Master Degree in Economics and or Business Studies
• Minimum 5- year experience in an economic research institution in the same position
• Knowledge of understanding Chamber services
• Knowledge of economic and business issues in the region and internally
• Expertise in research techniques and data management techniques
• Previous experience of managing research projects
• High command of English (Reading, Spoken and written) Arabic is preferable and or an advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office
