1. Knowledge in BTU metering system
2. Knowledge to find out and rectify communication loop error.
3. knowledge of wiring, diagrams, schematics and electrical symbols
4. Knowledge of occupational hazards that could compromise personal safety
5. Deal with complaints in a tactful manner
6. Installs, repairs and inspects BTU meters, meter reading equipment, valves etc.
7. Responds to customer service requests, not limited to: connections, disconnects, rereading meters, checking for leaks, etc. and may be required to respond to emergency callouts or assist the operation crews with system repairs.
8. Maintains records of work performed and materials used.
9. Meter services and operating procedures including identifying sources of high BTU energy use.
10. Reading and interpreting manuals, specifications and troubleshooting metering equipment.
11. Knowledge in BTU meter installation.
