Within the Elevator Technology Business Area, thyssenkrupp Airport Systems is in charge of manufacturing and servicing passenger boarding bridges (PBB), leading the world’s market of PBBs and has a strong presence in Europe, the Middle East & Americas.
According to the company needs thyssenkrupp Airport Systems, S.A. - Dubai Branch is currently looking for an experienced and qualified Deputy Service Manager, to be working with us at the Dubai International Airport.
The main job duties of the Deputy Service Manager are the following ones:
1. To attain the target functional level of units on daily basis.
2. To review together with the System Engineers and Duty Engineers the system performance and to ensure that downtime events, stand degraded operation, response time and resolution time are within the permissible limits on daily basis.
3. To provide oversight and direction to the employees in the operating units in accordance with the company’s policies & procedures (P&Ps;) on daily basis.
4. To cooperate with the HSE Manager for day to day activities and preparing HSE audits as per client requirements on circumstantial basis.
5. To attend and prepare action logs for meetings with the client about weekly performance, monthly system health checkup, proactive meetings, etc. on weekly and monthly basis.
6. To allocate external manpower and internal staff resources for the accomplishment of required works and quality standards on daily basis.
7. To collaborate with the Human Resources Department for selection and deployment processes of new employees on circumstantial basis.
8. To review the work orders on the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) filled out by Technicians and Duty Engineers and to coordinate with the CMMS Planning Responsible the closure of O&M;work orders on daily basis.
9. To review the work orders on the CMMS filled out by technicians, and to coordinate with the CMMS Planning Responsible the closure of O&M;work orders on weekly basis.
10. To check assets on site for quality audit purposes, addressing the findings to concerned stakeholders and updating details in the corresponding system on circumstantial basis.
11. To maintain proper communication systems, such as department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email exchanges and regular interpersonal communications on daily basis.
12. To maintain employee work schedules including job rotation, trainings, vacation planning and overtime records on daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis.
13. To review outdated Standard Operation Procedures(SOPs) and to prepare new SOPs as per requirements on circumstantial basis.
14. To communicate and follow up with the client any external works not concerning DXB International Airport as per tkAS requirement on circumstantial basis.
15. To coordinate together with the Service Manager preparation of new Assets Master Plans for improvements on circumstantial basis.
16. To submit weekly and monthly KPI reports and proactive analysis data for all the system on time on weekly and monthly basis.
17. To report any accident/incident to higher management within the stipulated time period in the escalation procedure on circumstantial basis.
18. To review the maintenance snags and to initiate the necessary corrective or repair action and to update the TKAS database accordingly on weekly basis.
19. To review of operation report, work done and pending issues in coordination with System Engineers, Duty Engineers and Corrective Maintenance team for day to day activities on daily basis.
20. To coordinate with the client for other contractors pending works or issues on circumstantial basis.
21. To conduct site audits, necessary actions for non-compliance observed and to update the TKAS database accordingly on circumstantial basis.
22. To review the assets care reports sent by Technicians and to apply actions for improvement on circumstantial basis.
23. To prepare and send dashboard reports to clients on daily basis.
24. To organize fallback drills and to share the report and findings with the team for lessons learned and to take necessary actions on semiannual basis.
25. To coordinate and plan for TUV inspection of all systems, and to review the provided snag list for correction on yearly basis.
