The Manager - Programme will liaise and work with Department teams to ensure they are planning and integrated effectively to ensure the delivery of the Expo2020 Programme. The Manager - Programme will take ownership of specific Departments such as Ceremonies & Daily Production, Events & Programming and the Exhibitions teams. Main responsibilities for this role include: - Provide programme and project management support to Divisions and Departments in the day-to-day planning, readiness and integrated operational delivery of Expo 2020; - Facilitate activities for Department teams to ensure accurate definition and reflection of scope, dependencies and timelines in plans and identify key areas of integration with other Departments; - Ensure regular monitoring of key projects, critical milestones, risks & issues for key Departments, identifying trends and significant cross-departmental impacts; - Ensure that Risks, Issues and Milestones across the Programme are integrated in a way that can support the Senior Leadership to identify priorities and make decisions based on time critical activities; - Work closely with the Head of Programme to ensure the IOO functions are integrated and develop the plan for the transition of the Integrated Programme Delivery Function into the Event-time Planning Function; - Maintain the readiness/test and exercise schedule, ensuring dependencies are incorporated and changes are communicated to internal and external stakeholders; - Support the delivery of readiness/tests and exercises, including the preparation of test scripts, success criteria and scenario material; - Ensuring lessons and actions from readiness activity/tests and exercises are aligned with department milestones.
المهارات
6+ years’ experience in project management or similar positions, as well as:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field;
- A track record of successful project management and delivery of a wide range of complex projects ;
- Excellent interpersonal skills (written and verbal);
- Demonstrated ability to identify problems and develop solutions;
- Flexible, resilient and positive through organisational growth and change;
- Experience of working in the GCC region;
- Project Management certification from a recognised institution (e.g. PMI or PRINCE2);
- Knowledge of Mega Event operational planning and delivery.
