The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of social media tactics and strategies along with experience in overall online marketing. This position will be responsible for creating and executing strategies in a fast-paced, high-volume environment across all Expo 2020 Dubai social marketing channel. Main responsibilities of the role include: - Oversee all social media platforms from ideation to content creation, implementation, management and reporting;
- Responsible for the implementation of the social media strategy;
- Develop compelling multi-channel and in-depth content strategy designed to accomplish larger business objectives;
- Ensure coverage of all key segments;
- Develop quarterly content road maps based on pre-approved content themes and pillars;
- Conceive, create and execute innovative social media marketing campaigns to deliver brand affinity and increased consumer engagement and ticket / merchandize sales;
- Develop, plan and execute quarterly social media stand-alone campaigns in-line with Expo 2002 objectives to grow fan-base across all channels and increase engagement levels;
- Serve as primary point of contact with appointed social media agency and manage day-to-day communications and deliverables;
- Work closely with the Bureau as well as with other stakeholders across the organization to support and amplify key messages on each channel;
- Work closely with Partner Marketing and Commercial teams to develop joint social media campaign;
- Interface with Government Entities to alight our messages with theirs and mutually support our respective campaigns;
- Ability to re-purpose social media content for different social media platforms based on deep understanding how content is consumed differently on each channel;
- Develop and manage relationships with 3rd party vendors related to social media;
- Identify emerging social media platforms;
- Ability to identify social media micro-influencers and work on Influencer Outreach Programmes;
- Ensure that all staff acquire the required skills and knowledge through appropriate learning and development programmes on Social media channels;
- Produce monthly activity reports and disseminate them to key stakeholders.
المهارات
6+ years of concentrated experience with social media channels and deep understanding of digital marketing, as well as:
- BA/BS required
- Proven ability to significantly drive engagement and conversion;
- Bilingual Arabic English;
- Deep understanding of the UAE social media scene, culture and trends but also experienced with working on global social media campaigns for international markets;
- Multi-tasker who is well organized, with impeccable written and oral presentation skills;
- Strong understanding of social media measurement and insights as well as overall digital analytics;
- Proven analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases;
- Proven experience working on influencer marketing campaigns;
- Excellent project management skills;
- Creative thinker who can be both innovative while execution oriented;
- Knowledge in web analytical tools: Google, CoreMetrics, Omniture, etc.
- Ecommerce/Retail experience;
- Able to work in an ambiguous, ‘internet-speed’ environment;
- Understanding of the Emirati population and government culture.
