Job Objective: Creation and modification of 3D & 2D engineering design using CAD system. Involves the detail drafting of component drawings for manufacturing, assembly, installation, etc.
Prepare detailed working diagrams of mechanical/electrical parts and systems - including dimensions, fastening methods, and other engineering information. Functional Role:
Basic communication, numerical and computational abilities.
Openness to learning, ability to plan and organize own work and identify and solve problems in the course of working.
Understanding the need to take initiative and manage self and work to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Draft routine working sketches and layouts
Create and revise CAD models and draw using computer hardware and software
Update and revise 2D drawings on changes needed by Design team.
Manage drawing system integrity in product data management system (Windchill)
Complete drawing projects groups by documenting and organizing.
Support Engineering Team
Manage drawing files and drawing and quality standards.
Check drafts and ensure accuracy and completeness with department designers appropriate application of GD&T;requirements

Preferred Experience:
Minimum 3 years of Drafting / Design Experience
Experience in automated drafting and 3-D Modeling, CATIA, CREO, CAE systems required.
Experience in CREO 3.0 Cabling, Piping, Assembly and Modelling required.
Experience or interest in processes and process equipment
Working knowledge of standard Microsoft Office applications (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
Strong attention to detail and well organized
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with industrial standards, drafting standards, automotive parts detailed design
Must interpret basic technical drawings including characteristics such as views, title blocks, dimensioning, GD&T;symbols, etc. Interpret specification requirements in relation to product and process characteristics
Valid UAE Driving License will be an added advantage
