Role Purpose: The Technical Expert for Finance Applications will be responsible for supporting finance applications including but not limited to JDE, Cartesis, BPC, Hubble and so forth. The candidate should be able to identify the root causes of applications failure and take appropriate actions / escalation to prevent recurrence. Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Projects Planning
Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
Develop and ensure adequacy of the Applications Architecture to the Company expansion and IT innovation
Propose to management evolutions to support the company expansion and integrate the latest technologies
Propose and implement action plans in order to increase productivity, performance and effectiveness of the operations
Design all the IT applications architecture (OS, database, application) according to best practices
Improve the project planning and time estimation to avoid delay in project delivery
Software, Security & Support
Ensure the Periodical tests “Full Back up restore, Hosts fails over test …etc.” are done according to the procedures and corrective actions are applied
Troubleshoot system deficiencies and implements effective solutions
Guarantee the Technical Support for all the Finance applications implementation
Guarantee that the information provided by the systems is accurate, timely and usable
Guarantee proper documentation for all IT application architectures
Guarantee and coordinate the DRP for all countries
Guarantee overall security on all data and systems (IT Policy, DRP, SLA, etc.)
Ensure the system security and data confidentiality
Ensure stability of the applications and communications to avoid any downtime in the operations
Guarantee minimal delay in all recovery procedures in order to minimize the impact on operations
General
Participate to and implement the OMNI-CHANNEL strategy
Maintain professional, impartial and efficient relationships with suppliers and partners
Develop retail awareness in order to provide results that are in line with the business
Stay updated on new technologies and innovations
Report any action that might interfere with the proper functioning of the company
Ensure close collaboration with Majid Al Futtaim Retail Int’l to enhance the transfer of know-how and benefit of Int’l agreements
المهارات
Functional/Technical Competencies
Proficiency in JD Edwards, SAP BFC, BPC and Hubble
Intermediate knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle is required
Exposure to cloud technologies (Azure Cloud, IAAS, PAAS)
ITIL framework preferred
Qualification, Experience & Skills: Minimum Qualifications/Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT or any relevant discipline
Minimum experience
0-2 years in the related function
Skills
Highly organized with strong multitasking skills
Good time management skills
Good problem solving skills
High attention to detail
English (Full professional proficiency - Required)
Arabic is an advantage
