Duties and Responsibilities:
Reviewing and developing production methods and technique in the factory to ensure proper utilization of available resources.
Cross functional team working with field management and quality assurance.
Coordinating and controlling production activities in the production section.
Maintaining a comprehensive preventive maintenance schedule for the entire factory unit.
Allocating duties and supervising the machinery.
Diagnosing faults and ensuring timely repairs of the factory machinery and equipment.
Maintain work area in an organized and clean manner ensuring safety and good manufacturing practices.
Work as a team with other operators to ensure no line stoppages and improve operations.
Cross training to perform work on other lines or in other production areas as needed.
Requisitioning and verifying of quality spares ordered for machinery.
Writing technical reports on the plant and machinery.
Timely scheduling of statutory maintenance and repairs of both steam boilers and diesel generators.
Installation and commissioning of new machinery.
المهارات
Education: Higher diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
Work Experience: At Least 5 Years of experience gained in a manufacturing environment preferably in the tissue industry.
Skills:
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to work independently or with a team and communicate effectively.
Solid problem solving and decision making skills.
Comfort working in a high speed production environment.
