SUPERVISOR – R & P

الوصف الوظيفي
 Develop, interpret and follow method statements and procedures in addition to understanding specifications, drawings and all other discipline related project and engineering documentation.
 Co-ordinate work progress with SRM, superintendent, other trades with his own department.
 Liaise with invoicers / estimators to ensure that department and commercial targets are synchronized and met.
 Develop detailed completion program with manpower loading.
 Plan daily manpower distribution for all R&P;projects under realm of responsibility.
 Identifying and act upon opportunities for improvement to work & safety related matters.
 Participate in accident investigation, root cause analysis and provide assistance in preparing reports.
 Implement the day-to-day operations assigned for the department / section to ensure compliance with the established standard and procedures.
 Ensure that the Safety, Quality & Environment requirements of the yard are strictly followed.
 Perform other job related duties as assigned by the section head.
المهارات
Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
 Extensive familiarity with mechanical propulsion works with at least 5 years’ of experience as lead foreman or supervisor in marine or new building yard.
 Sound technical knowledge on marine propulsion and shafting system.
 Ability to coach and provide guidance for junior staff to improve productivity and quality.
 Thorough knowledge in overhaul and calibration procedure of mechanical equipment and/or machineries.
 Knowledge and experience in ship repair and new building yard.  Possess knowledge of MS office and Project Management skills.
