To be an effective store service ambassador capable of handling customers requests assisting them to perform highest levels of customer service and relationship.
Key Job Responsibilities include but not restricted to
Business Performance
Generate POS Invoice by scanning barcode.
Receive payment by cash, credit cards, and promotional vouchers correctly.
Open and close cash registers, performing tasks such as counting money, separating charge slips, coupons, and vouchers, balancing cash drawers, and making deposits to Team Leader.
Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding refunds/ exchanges, and security practices.
Ensure proper reconciliation between starting cash and ending cash positions with actual cash sales.
Provide cash position reports at the end of the shift in a multi-shift sales operation
100% Items to be tagged with Security Stickers and Barcodes, prior to handing over to the concerned sales team
100% GRN’s & STR’s to be posted within 24Hrs of receiving or dispatching of goods from the Store – register to be maintained for measurement.
Customer Focus
Greet customers politely and ascertain what each customer wants or needs and follow the F.I.S.Hprinciples to achieve customer satisfaction.
Direct Customers to collect High Value merchandise purchased from Collection Point Delivery Section. Advise customer in case of Large Items to reconfirm with salesman regarding The Delivery/Installation Schedule.
Direct Customers in coordination with Customer Service to Bag or package purchases, and wrap products as gifts.
Assist in placing products inside Shopping Bags.
100% Return of Store defective items to the suppliers within 15 working days – to be measured through weekly report submitted to the Store Manager.
People Development
Provide on-the-job training to newly appointed cashiers if any.
Mentor and coach less experience employees to become more effective cashiers.
Quality Excellence
In the absence of the Team Leader to manage the team in performing tasks such as duty schedules, cash audit etc.
Have good knowledge and understanding about the standard operating procedures of the company.
To be the ambassador for best business practise, ethics and code of conduct and ensure that the business should be conducted with uncompromising honesty and integrity while dealing with customers.

Multilingual skills for English3rd / 4th Language desirable.
Qualifications: Bachelors Degree/ Diploma
Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years as a cashier in a large electronics retail organisation / Hypermarket.
Compulsory Additional Qualifications: Desirable – PC Skills.
Desired Additional Qualifications: SAP knowledge.
