Role Purpose
Manage, monitor and improve portfolio of social networks, paid/earned media to achieve set KPI’s and maximize the efficiency of the marketing spend. Develop an offline and online communication strategy that will endorse the brand equity, share of voice, publicity, engagement and reach amongst key Value Strategic Segments in the mall’s trade.
Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Manage public relations, digital media and social media for Mall of the Emirates and ensure execution by the team and the relevant partners/agencies
Oversee, critically assess public relations plans, digital media planning and implementation track responses, refine campaigns to ensure KPI success
Provide critical performance results and recommendations to internal and partner teams
Work with the analytics resource to continuously analyze website, digital asset usage and traffic trends to drive media planning and future site / landing page iterations
Manage SEM / paid media programs, social media campaigns, audience on demand initiatives
Execute SEO tactics to ensure first-page rankings for selected keywords, incorporate SEO best practices into the website architecture and content
Play an active role in supporting the Senior Marketing Manager in developing a robust strategy for social networks not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, You tube
Develop and support the roll out, and monitor the execution of social media roadmaps, tactics, best practice, tool kits, guidelines and guide the relevant agencies in the implementation
Manage social media monitoring and listening
Work with cross functional teams to identify social media integration opportunities throughout the consumer experience (e.g: digital, mobile, on property)
Support in identifying key transformation/ innovation opportunities, develop feasibility, monitor execution based on the Strategic initiatives for Mall of the Emirates and SMBU
Stay informed of best practices and new technologies, platforms in Social media, mobile / online marketing and advertising and become a thought leader on the subject
Negotiate with digital media agency to ensure optimal digital and interactive media buys with a focus on performance goals and metrics
Manage day-to-day relationship with external agencies/vendors, as well as build strong relationships with internal and partner stakeholders to execute, manage projects end to end
Develop strategic relationship with key media outlets and work with the agency to improve publicity and share of voice
المهارات
Education, Experience and Skills
Graduate / Post Graduate with specialization in communications, Marketing, social and digital marketing / media
Minimum 8 years’ experience with top media agencies and practical use cases of Social Media, Google Analytics, Ad Words, email marketing, Search Engine Marketing (PPC), Search Engine Optimization, Web site Analytics, Affiliate Networks and standard industry practices
Advanced understanding of ad-serving platforms, testing, buying online media and/or managing campaign budgets and have a proven track record with ad networks
Expert knowledge of campaign costs, response rates, and the ability to tailor placements to meet campaign objectives and goals
Demonstrated experience with social media marketing, monitoring, community management and advertising
Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, LinkedIn Ads, Facebook Ads, Twitter Ads, YouTube and Instagram, with a strong sense of different community behavior’s and experience using social media to drive ROI and business goals
Display keen interest in technology/innovations
Good interpersonal and leadership skills
Should be able to communicate effectively and have excellent negotiation skills
Should have good organizational and planning abilities including the ability to deal with/work under pressure and tight deadlines
Thorough working knowledge of intermediate to advanced MS Excel
Good communications skills (written and verbal) in English and Arabic (preferable)
Sound financial skills with experience in managing budgets
Be the advocate and ambassador of aligning and cascading the MAFP values across SMBU and ensure that it is adhered to and exhibit the same all the time
Functional/Technical
Academic / Professional Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Marketing or equivalent
Experience
Minimum 5-7 Year work experience in managing Marketing activities preferably in a reputed Retail / Hospitality / Advertising / Event Management companies in GCC or abroad
