FIRE ENGINEER

The role would be for Fire Engineer (working job title) representing the insulation division here in Dubai, covering the Middle East construction market, particularly the façade & HVAC part of our business, focusing in on fire safety and why our products are safe to use.

The role would also report into Europe where we have a central pool of ‘fire safety’ personnel that share a working group on this key topic.

Locally the candidate, would regularly present at seminars, meet with local authorities and be part of working groups such as regulation/standards committees ASTM, NFPA,ASHRAI etc and support the sales and specification team as and when required.

The ideal candidate would have the following skills/attributes:

· Fire engineering background

· Experience in the construction market

· Sound knowledge of local and international building codes

· Competent presenter

· Knowledge of the façade market

· Worked in the Middle East or USA

· Knowledge of fire tests
