The Arabic Transcriber, Client Media Centre (CMC) will be responsible for:
Managing the transcription process, converting Arabic audio, video and live presentations into Arabic text.
Managing Arabic transcription during Daily Media Briefings, National Day Conferences, General Media Conferences and Media Opportunity events
Provide Arabic written transcriptions to Press Office
Relationship management with Arabic Press Office
Ensure transcriptions are provided to stakeholders and partners in a timely manner
The translation of audio material to written material including: quotes; interviews; video content; media conferences; media interviews;
Working with the Senior Manager and Managers of the Client Media Centre on translation of material to Arabic for the Client Media Centre including: procedures, fact sheets; help desk manuals; procedural documents
Ensure service levels and excellence in guest experience are delivered to all attending media throughout their client 2020 journey
Provide support for Arabic speaking media and spokespeople
Work with client functional areas and other stakeholders as required
المهارات
More than eight (8) years’ experience in transcribing Arabic language and dialects in the GCC region in media or related fields
Demonstrate appropriate speed and accuracy in delivering transcription services
Cultural intelligence
Experience with working in the media industry
Experience working for major international events
Understanding of the media landscape internationally, regionally and locally
Experience in translation of material from Arabic to English including written to written text, audio to written text and other forms as required
