Manage the planning and execution of all Assurance and Business Transformation projects as assigned by the Head of ABT. This includes but is not limited to ensuring compliance with internal controls, policies, procedures, processes, standards and other internal and external requirements, safeguarding company interests and to support operational efficiency and effectiveness by addressing business issues and facilitating productive discussions to provide solutions to the Business, so as to support its efficiency and effectiveness.
Work with the Head of ABT to prepare a risk-based annual assurance plan.
Lead, own and manage an audit portfolio as assigned by the Head of ABT and acts as the primary point of contact on these issues with other department heads.
Review financial, regulatory, controls compliance and / or operational activities, determining the integrity, security and reliability of financial information, compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for safeguarding the Company’s interests.
Ensure an efficient and effective control environment through conducting enterprise-risk assessments, evaluating and identifying control gaps to improve controls and mitigate identified risks.
Act as a primary client liaison within Assurance team and maintain professional and close relations with all clients and staff (internal and external).
Evaluate the adequacy of operational systems, administrative systems and processes in compliance with the established objectives and KPIs of the company. Present the results of assurance assignments / evaluation, highlighting areas of improvement to senior management.
Conducts special, and/or complex assurance assignments, including investigations … etc., evaluate issues requiring abroad knowledge of assurance, best management practices and/ or special regulations.
Play a consultancy role, advising on the implementation plans of final assurance recommendations.
Promote high level of risk awareness and business “code of conduct” within the company.
Perform other assignments for special projects on ad hoc basis as and when necessary as per business requirements.
Identifies areas to increase revenue, reduce costs and mitigate risk for the business.
المهارات
Qualification and Experience:
Bacherlors or Masters Degree in Finance or Accounting
CA / CPA / ACA / CIA / CMA Qualifications
Minimum of 10 - 15 years experience in manufacturing, logistics, FMCG or from well-know international accounting/auditing firms
