Director of Talent Management

We are looking for a dynamic professional Director of Talent Management to join our team at Moment Makers. Always open to inspiration with your finger on the pulse, you are an entertainment professional, from a hospitality, live events, music or media background, comfortable operating at a senior managerial level with a proven track record and experience working across projects incorporating all spectrums of talent. You are comfortable working with a diverse selection of talent, from grassroots to A list celebrities, global and iconic musical artists.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

- Secure and handle 18 Headline Talent (HLT) from global and regional markets to plan and deliver the show concepts for each talent with the creative team;

- Liaise directly with connected experiences team to deliver robust marketing and communications plan in collaborations with artist’s team;

- Responsible for curated experiences, design, mapping and management of personalized journey planning of all talent and key guests through Expo;

- Plan, manage and deliver the Musical Encounters programme design for artist engagement with HLT talent at the Expo Music Studio throughout the 6 months period;

- Oversee the value stream to ensure operational excellence, engagement from suppliers and project delivery improvements are achieved;

- Responsible for all contracting, budgeting and project planning of the strategic responsibilities and programs including but not limited to HLT Programming, Musical Encounters and Curated Experiences;

- Managing the talent management and curated experiences teams to deliver on all relevant and assigned programs;

- Embed the culture and vision of Expo 2020 into the talent team and function through performance management, feedback and coaching.

المهارات
15+ year’s live events and concerts, hospitality industry and event management experience in a leadership role, as well as:

- A Bachelor’s degree within a relevant field;

- Ability to lead a team with motivation and professionalism;

- Strong commercial & financial acumen, strategic thinker and good communicator with solid network of trusted suppliers and talent bookers and managers;

- Strong ability to multi-task various projects with results-oriented mindset;

- Experienced in communication and influencing skills at a senior level;

- Self-motivation with the ability to work well independently and under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines;

- Proven track record in planning and managing high-profile events for large and complex multinational organizations;

- Significant experience in the UAE gaining strong knowledge and understanding of local rules and regulations as it pertains to events.
