The role will be responsible for gathering relevant supply chain market information for the purpose of informing business decision making and setting strategic direction. Role responsibilities include:
Identify and review top sources of market and industry data
Identify and review most accurate sources of market economic data and forecasts
Gather data and information on different markets from diverse sources relevant to the supply chain industry and good trade flows
Analyse economic forecasts and reports and identify trends which may present opportunities or threats
Based on data analysis and assimilation, identify improvement opportunities
Profile key market participants
Conduct feasibility analysis based on market opportunities and threats
Compile reports, charts, and presentations to convey recommendations
Develop a unified understanding of different markets to facilitate effective decision making
المهارات
5 Years relevant experience in market intelligence
Logistics and supply chain industry experience a MUST
Data assimilation and analytical skills
Ability to compile comprehensive reports
Strong communication skills
