looking to recruit an Onshore Mechanical Supervisor. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent you will be responsible for planning, supervising and participating in the installation, testing, maintenance and repair of mechancial equipment including all rotating equipment, valves and lifting equipment for all Onshore Operations areas. Plan and supervise the day to day maintenance, repair and replacement of equipment, supervising the activities of employees and contracted technicians, create or review troubleshooting plans to minimise unintentional outcomes and threats to business continuity, ensure compliance with schedules and complete and accurate technical reporting and ensure all activites are carried out in accordance with company HSE polices and procedures
The successful candidate must have a 3 year diploma or apprenticeship in the Mechanical trade and qualifications. Lifting operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations ( LOLAR) certified for lifing operations, 8-10 years indusirial mechanical experience in the oil and gas sector, 3 of which must be in a supervisory or leadership role and experience must include the repair, testing, online servicing and installation of valves including Pressure Safety Valves ( PSV’s) and gas turbines, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors and pumps, mechanical seals and dry gas seals, portable and fixed lifting equipment and rigging
