Great opportunity has arisen for a skilled and certified Intelligent Transport System (ITS) Technician within FAMCO Al Futtaim in UAE.
Purpose:
Technicians should ensure being up-to-date with technical aspects of the product/vehicle and to be able to fix right a problem the first time.
Duties:
Mechanical & Electrical repairs, troubleshoot and diagnosing on ITS (Intelligent Transport System) repairs of buses
Diagnose faults and recommend effective solutions, doing it right the first time.
While attending jobs both in the workshop and the field also proactively identify potential problem cause
Using tools and adopting best practices as mentioned in service manuals so as to improve the productivity and efficiency
Read, understand and implement instructions in workshop manuals. Use Service checklist where applicable and available.
Responsible for monitoring and carrying out repairs related to ITS related components used for vehicle real-time tracking, passenger information displays, cameras, vehicle diagnostics etc.
Job Context:
Extending 24X7 service support to customers given the stringent requirement from customers for vehicle/bus uptime, delays are to be avoided at all costs
Emergency support in case of breakdowns
المهارات
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
At least 2 to 3 years of direct experience working on buses
Diploma in Electronics Engineering
Must show proven technical expertise in independently servicing, repairs and component overhauls
Experience of repairing ITS components / systems of buses will be an advantage
UAE driving License is an advantage
BKT (Bus Key Technician) Certification from Volvo Bus Corporation is greatly desired
Job-Specific Skills:
Sound technical knowledge in Bus and / or Truck servicing, repairs and maintenance.
Knowledge in handling VOLVO tech tool, diagnostic tool etc. desired
