Hiring Purchasing Manager to join our team in Dubai-UAE with the following major tasks and responsibilities:
Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies
Seek reliable vendors or suppliers to provide quality goods at reasonable prices, both locally & internationally
Manage supplier relations and negotiate contracts, prices, timelines, etc.
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness. Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms
Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
Assess, manage and mitigate risks
Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
The major requirements for the suitable candidate are:
Interest in market dynamics along with business sense
Strong critical negotiation and networking skills
Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures
Solid judgment along with decision making skills
Strong communication and leadership capabilities
