Modify existing programs
Assist and instruct others
Monito long cycle times
Set complex jobs in a timely manner
Implement minor and suggest major tooling changes
Use measuring equipment and basic CMM
Create simple programs from scratch in a timely manner
Use 4 Jaw chucks, Centre plates, Soft jaws, Travelling and Fixed steady work
Load varying size components into the machines competently
Responsible in various types of threading, screw cutting, and crane lifting
Machining exotic and oilfield materials e.g. 4330, 4145, 625,718, Super Duplex using FANUC 32i control
المهارات
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or any other equivalent discipline
Minimum of 5 years working experience as a CNC Machinist / Operator / Technician
Ability to work in imperial and metric micrometers
Able to understand complex engineering drawings
Willingness and ability to follow management directions to achieve results
Experienced in a manufacturing machine shop environment, setting and operation of appropriate equipment within a turning department
Ability to read and interpret layout and to measure sizes using precision instruments such as micrometers, height gauge, gauge block, bore gauge dial indicators
Experience working with a team in a manufacturing department or in a similar environment
Conversant using and reading measuring equipment, Micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges etc.
Experienced in working with technical engineering drawings in a precision machine and working to fine tolerances up to 0.01mm and with a wide range of engineering materials including carbon and stainless steels, aluminum etc.
Fanuc controls trained would be an advantage
Has excellent communication skills
