Report to the Operations Manager
• Be well aware of the client Health and Safety requirements
• Advise on potential hazards at work sites
• Prepare appropriate safety requirements for inclusion in Work Method Statements
• Administer ‘Permit to Work’ procedures
• Ensure Site security, fire, First Aid and welfare facilities and procedures are provided and properly maintained.
• Ensure all agreed safety standards and applicable regulations are observed
• Carry out and record regular safety inspections
• Organize safety training for the staff
• Organize regular inspections and safety drills
• Investigate all accidents and dangerous occurrences
• Assist in the development of safe systems of work and safety and ‘Permit to Work procedures
• Set a high personal example of Health & Safety at all times
