Responsibilities:
• Champion of test automation within your team
• Accurately estimate test automation work during sprint planning
• Ensure your team reports on test execution, coverage, defect densities and open defect counts
• Own test coverage and technical debt for your team
• Be a top-class critical thinker, automating at every turn to keep regression at bay
• Lead defect triage during software delivery
Skills and Experience:
Good experience in Java
5+ years of working experience in a software quality assurance position
Detailed knowledge of both manual and automated testing best practice techniques, tools and processes including: Cucumber, Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Gatling, Postman, CI/CD , Git, Jira, Confluence, Spring, JUnit, mock libraries, Linux, Bash
Good communicator with a strong command of the English language
You have worked with OOP, Agile, TDD and ATDD / BDD
Experience in some of the following types of testing; highly transactional platforms, functional, API, acceptance, contract, cloud infrastructure, security, data integrity, performance, resilience
