- Your main responsibility is to ensure that the component paperwork identifies the part with the correct identification marks.
- Repair the components assigned, and ensure that welding is carried out in accordance with the process route sheet.
- To ensure NDT Inspection of component after repair in the welding area is carried out.
- Complete all standard data forms as required.
- Complete all repairs and prepare the Component for Final Inspection.
- To operate a light and/or heavy forklift to move parts around the facility.
- Carry out any other tasks as assigned by the Workshop Supervisor
- To work safely and in accordance with all company Health, Safety and Environmental rules and recommendations, and be proactive in maintaining a safe working environment.
Desired Candidate Profile
Applicant should hold a High School Leaving Certificate or relevant extensive experience in similar field.
Welding qualification required.
Experience in furnace work and forklift driving is also preferred.
Should be able to communicate, understand and perform instructions from senior personnel.
With basic oral and written English language Skills.
