A Software company in Dubai is looking for a Head of Development (Software).
Experience required:
• Possess strong Cloud and Network architectural knowledge in areas of virtualization, Openstack, Openflow, VXLAN/VLANs, Hypervisors, vSwitch, Virtual Machines and containers.
• Deployment of OpenStack Services and additional services like Ironic, Cinder, Manilla, Zun etc. Hands-on experience on OpenStack
• Python programming/Ansible scripting is a must
• Good understanding of IT best practices and procedures, like ITIL v3 and PMI etc.
• At least 15 years of extensive development experience in IT/Telecommunications/Vendor.
Key Accountabilities:
• Develop, and lead software development team, Guide, coach and mentor software developers.
• Provide project management and technical leadership for every aspect of software.
• Prepare life-cycle for different projects inclusive of research, development, design, evaluation, testing along with delivery to product management.
• Establish and stimulate software development standards and processes along with best practices for delivery of scalable and high-quality platform/software.
