الوصف الوظيفي Our Consumer & Sensory Insights (CSI) team for SAMEA (South Asia, Middle East, and Africa) is part of our Regional Innovation organisation for Taste & Wellbeing (T&W;). To support our exciting new ways of working for our region, we are now hiring for a ‘Head of Consumer & Sensory Insights’ role that will be based in our regional office in Dubai. You will lead strategic innovation and customer projects with the state-of-the-art CSI programmes to support the SAMEA T&W;growth strategy. This is a new and hands-on role for the region, starting as an individual contributor role initially and later on also focussing on recruiting and building a team of CSI specialists who will need to be based across the region to work with our sub-regional teams closely. You will report to the Head of Regional Innovation for SAMEA and be an essential member of the Regional Innovation Leadership team. In this exciting role, you will help manage: Lead development of the strategy, vision, and implementation plans for the Consumer and Sensory Insight functions in the SAMEA region - ● Assess the needs of key partners: Segment and Regional Marketing Teams, Flavour Creation and Application, and Science & Technology. ● Review the SAMEA Growth Strategy by Segment, Regional, and Customer wise to establish the capability needs for the future. ● Communicate the vision, strategy, and implementation plan for CSI SAMEA. ● Create the implementation plan and ensure successful execution. ● Ensure a competitive advantage of Givaudan in the domain of Consumer and Sensory insights by developing differentiating insights and methodologies. Provide consumer and product insights to the SAMEA Taste & Wellbeing business - ● Design Consumer understanding and Sensory programmes to support innovation and country plans following the needs and available budget. ● Manage priorities and budgets with regular communication with the relevant team members, ensuring the budget approval process is followed. ● Provide Consumer understanding and Sensory services to Givaudan’s key customers based on agreed priorities. ● Manage Consumer, Sensory Insights and Market Intelligence partners and vendors to deliver on-time and on-budget. ● Build an excellent understanding of our customer needs with Consumer understanding and Sensory Insights. Build and drive Consumer and Sensory knowledge awareness across the region - ● Develop and execute relevant training programmes to ensure knowledge transfer into product development, marketing promotions, and customer interactions. ● Monitor the use of Consumer and Sensory knowledge and return on investment with well-defined KPI’s. ● Represent Givaudan’s CSI function with Givaudan’s SAMEA Customers and within the larger CSI domain (Academia, FoodTech network, Vendors). People management and development - ● Manage to recruit and develop a team of CSI Specialists across the SAMEA region in the near future as the role matures. ● Eventually, lead the SAMEA CSI team and ensure that the team has the right capabilities and organisational structure to support our strategy. ● Enhance personal and team performance within a culture of regular coaching and feedback. ● Ensure development opportunities and motivate the team to bring the best out of them. المهارات Are you someone who wants to shape your world? Your professional profile includes: ● A University degree in Food Science, Consumer Sciences, Market Research or a relevant discipline. ● 10+ years’ of relevant experience with the right mix of experience in B2B and B2C insights, with a solid understanding of Sensory and Consumer research techniques and an emphasis on how to translate these insights into commercial propositions. Additional experience in change management, transition, setting up sensory labs, and building teams is preferable. ● 3+ years track record in leading and developing winning and successful teams. ● Excellent Project management experience. ● An understanding of CSI tools and industry trends. ● Willingness to travel within the SAMEA (South Asia, Middle East, and Africa) region ~ 35% of the time. ● Excellent oral and written proficiency in the English language. Knowledge of additional languages like Arabic and French will be advantageous.
