This is a great opportunity to join a closely knit group with ambition to grow the shipping business. The core focus of this role would be to provide operational support throughout the shipping business and provide leadership to the existing team, However we feel this is a position that will have a broad scope and will need to be a senior figure that understands commercial risks and how to protect the company position.
Someone that has a deep understanding of a wide range of vessel operations matters in the bulk market, is comfortable with legal matters, dealing with P&I;Clubs etc as well as someone that is able to keep the chartering department aware when it comes to charter party clauses that could cause them some problems down the line.
This role will be reporting into and working closely with the GM of the business. We feel it would be well suited to someone that has strong commercial operations leadership experience gained within a moderately sized Owner/
