Roles and Responsibilities for VMWare – SOW
• VMware administration of VMware ESXi, vSphere.
• Hosts and OS monitoring to determine critical thresholds and take action within SLA.
• Evaluating existing network infrastructure and systems and optimizing network hardware and software for VMware integration.
• Developing and deploying customized VMware solutions.
• Defining multiple virtual servers.
• Virtualizing Windows servers and connecting them to networks.
• Designing and implementing template management.
• Installing operating systems and service packs, as well as security patches and bug fixes.
• Troubleshooting and resolving VMware environment issues.
• Using of vCenter, VROPS and vlog Insights for Monitoring and system reports.
• Providing technical support and documenting VMware processes.
• OS system related issues and bug fixes.
• SR process Support for any P1 and P2 issues.
• Other VMware related queries to be resolved/implemented.
