Automotive Workshop Supervisor
Your duties will include the following:
• Ensure the workshop and workshop equipment is kept to a high standard and cleanliness at all times.
• To ensure the department SOP are adhered to at all times
• Ensure that the area is adequately staffed to achieve objectives and that technicians are supplied with the necessary equipment to perform the required tasks.
• Assess impact of delays, interruptions or changes in plans and implement appropriate courses of action to minimize issues.
• Provide advice and technical assistance to team members.
• Orient new team members (e.g. job expectations, procedures, use of equipment etc.) to familiarize them with work surroundings.
• Coach and develop the job-related skills of team members to facilitate improvements in their job performance.
• Undertake additional related responsibilities as required.
• Test drive
To apply for this role you should have the following skills, qualifications and knowledge:
• Must have completed basic education
• A Qualification in Mechanical Engineering
• Good level of computer skills , Excel and Word
• Experience in German vehicles
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Automotive role
• Qualified Diagnostic Technician or equivalent is an advantage
• Previous experience in a supervisory role
• UAE Driving License
• Strong interpersonal skills and decision making abilities
• Strong leadership skills
• Time Management skills
