Astek is hiring a talented Full Stack Developer to be based in Dubai, UAE
Full‐stack Software Engineer – you will be joining a cross‐site scrum team which develops, test and maintains the airline‐specific features.
Responsibilities:
• Design technical solutions and develop new or improve existing software solutions.
• Develop software according to client standards (Coding guidelines, Secure‐Coding, etc.)
• Conduct unit tests, integration tests, and performance tests of the software and aim for a level of quality that is in line with the client guidelines.
• Proactively contribute in an agile way to the analysis of user stories to have the best under‐standing of customer needs.
• Support the end‐users during the Production phase by investigating and fixing issues.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in CS
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience
• Experience in building UIs using modern front‐end (Angular, React, Vue.js, Svelte, Ember)
• Experience in building REST APIs in an object‐oriented language: Java / C++ / Python
• Knowledge in writing unit tests using frameworks such as Jasmine, Junit
Preferred / Nice to haves:
• Worked in Agile/SAFe and international/cross‐site environment
• Familiarity with a CMS (Sitecore preferably, Adobe)
• Familiarity with cloud vendors (Azure preferably, AWS, GCP)
• Experience with Angular and Java/Spring
• Experience with third‐party API integrations
• Knowledge of build tools (npm, maven, gradle)
