The role is responsible for owning the product roadmap to create systems that contribute to improving the internal business experience and focusing on different aspects of business from category experience to
business development experience & building systems for business finance. You will be partaking in creating the platforms that involve communication with external partners as well as driving engagement.
We aim to engage the entire retail ecosystem in Egypt whose market potential stands at US $50B in market value and caters to the needs of more than 400K+ merchants.
This Product Manager role will be responsible for the roadmap contribution, stakeholder communication, design and development - sprint planning, requirements gathering and to build products that support deemed brand &
wholesale partners. This is a unique opportunity to learn multiple tech stacks and manage a product that has multi-billion dollar impact. The candidate will be responsible for understanding the business requirements, transforming the data, and research based insights into customer-centric product/feature development and evangelize and track key business and product metrics for their product verticals.
Key Result Areas (Accountability & Responsibility of the role)
Ideate, Define, Plan and Manage the roll out of the product features and enhancements based on data-driven methodologies
Work very closely with cross-functional stakeholders( including and not limited to business development teams, operations team, software developers, embedded engineers, design engineers, data scientists and business analysts) to execute the product roadmap for payment services ecosystem
Take a deep dive into customer understanding through participating in user interviews and feedback from stakeholders, communicating with research teams to deliver successfully on the needs for both external and internal customers
Create product plans, user journeys, product requirements and documentation that are informative, concise, and drive effective decision making and accountability for product success from design through delivery
Measure and report on the success metrics for features and the KPIs to ensure that we are in line with the business goals as well product goals for adoption, and generating incremental value on developed features. Also, deep dive on the feature metrics to understand patterns with aim to uncover insights for business growth
You will - at any point in time - be working on understanding cross-dependencies with partner platforms and help in documenting and exploring new avenues to improve customer and business experience
You will drive adoption & growth of rolled out solutions, assess open opportunities to further enhance merchant and supplier payment experience and remove friction points
You will measure improvements and impact of changes and set-up mechanisms to audit impact and perform necessary course corrections where needed to meet business objectives.

Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in an analytically-heavy discipline such as Engineering, Computer Science, Finance or Mathematics (or work experience to that effect)
4+ years of Professional experience with 2+ years of product management experience in an internet based company, preferably in startups focused on E-commerce, Marketplaces, Fintech, Supply Chain
Operations or Payments with detailed understanding of their business
