CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for growing the sales pipeline based on cold outreach and sourcing within the guidelines of the sales strategy.
Must be comfortable selling independently as well as within a team and developing repeatable B2B sales tactics that can be used in a team environment.
Expert level drip campaign development and management.
Comfortable in a fast paced, high growth startup environment where there may be some ambiguity.
Natural leader comfortable with “owning” sales growth within an organization.
Crafts and executes the company’s sales strategy.
Must be goals and numbers driven.
Responsible for building and maintaining a high performing sales team that scales with the organization and customer demand.
Leads and motivates a team of high performing sales professionals to meet sales quotas.
Manages a sales team that can drive business growth across all customer segments and profiles, and shares accountability with the revenue pipeline and leads, adjusting as necessary to create sustainable growth.
Comfortable with meeting aggressive monthly, quarterly, and annual performance goals.
Develops and manages sales forecasts, reporting updates to the CEO regularly.
Responsible for exceptional individual and team performance of the complete sales cycle from lead generation to close to product integration to servicing the customer.
Enthusiastic and comfortable with representing the company publicly as a speaker, thought leader, or expert.
Must be comfortable with selling as well as team building.
Additional Responsibilities
Monitors the marketplace and analyzes opportunities, providing competitive analysis, strategies, and tactics.
Stays well-connected with customers to ensure broad market needs are being incorporated into the product development and enhancement cycle.
Collaborates with finance, product management, and marketing on messaging, pricing strategies, and business models to achieve revenue goals.
Identifies and resolves issues across the marketing/sales and account management functions.
Participates in contract negotiations.
Education And Experience
Proven track record of growing revenue and selling subscription based products.
Previous experience as a VP of Revenue is a huge plus.
Proven experience developing and executing sales strategy as well as sales forecasting.
Understanding of how to establish and maintain excellent relationships with C-level executives of key target clients and channel partners.
Hard worker with a demonstrable ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Tons of energy, passion, positive mindset.
MBA or another advanced degree a plus.
