Hiring Datacenter Infrastructure Support Engineer
Mode of hiring/Duration: - 12 Months Extendable contract
Job Description:
• Regular data center inspections for (ups, cooling system, generator, technical room, electrical room, fire system, lv room, etc.)
• It rooms inspections for gate district & gate village (lights, cleanliness, cable management, cooling system)
• Sending data center notifications to dc clients (ppm announcement, permanent access update, force majeure, etc.)
• Attending operational weekly meeting with pmd/fm team
• Attending/supervise onsite for the major & critical works maintenance by the specialized vendor for dc during office, non-working hours, day-off & holidays.
• Assisting dc client’s enquiry through email, phone calls, even after working hours/day-off/holiday for their enquiry.
• Assisting physically of dc client’s onsite such us delivery of equipment’s, power activation, enquiry, etc.
• Coordinating with the dc fm team 24/7 (daily/after working hours/holiday/day-off)
• Coordinating with dc specialize vendor
• Coordinating with dc fm team 24/7 during emergency period such as receiving dc sms alarms etc.
• Updating line mngr. in case of emergency/sms alarms received/ & after works completed done by fm team & specialized vendors
• Reviewing & processing all service desk requests submitted by dc clients/ dc fm/isp provider (du & etc) such as pta,ptw, ptare 24x7
• Data center drawing layout update
• Updating dc permanent access lists
• Joint site visit of data centers / it rooms with the clients/fm team/vendor/it team upon necessary requests
• Preparation of cooling charges through dewa tariff website for the prospect upcoming dc clients/
• Preparing of monthly cable reports & submit to leasing & accounts team after reviewing.
• Monthly kpi reports submitted to line mngr.- vp-it infrastructure
• Preparing of utility charges report and submit to line mngr. before submitting to accounts dept.
• maintaining the cross-connect details
• Coordinating with other internal department such as leasing, accounts,etc.
• Coordinating with isp provider du & etc
• Closing of case received through case management portal
• Assisting dc clients & non-dc clients through phone call & emails how to obtain it noc online through portal.
• Reviewing & approving all SR requests received through portal submitted by the dc clients and non-dc clients.
• Receiving & reviewing of drawings received from backbone operator before approval of line mngr.
