We’re seeking a qualified business development specialist to extend our global reach through expert discovery and exploration of new and untapped business opportunities and relationships in mining and mineral sectors.
Our ideal candidate will be responsible for the growth of our businesses in the Middle East area.
Objectives of this Role
Assesses, evaluates, establishes, and develops opportunities in the Mining & Mineral Processing industry.
Initiates, builds, and enhances relationships with customers and strategic partners.
Drives achievable growth in sales forecasting and planning.
Gathers, reviews and analyzes information to develop recommendations for new and existing products, innovations and improvement initiatives.
Develops and delivers effective presentations and demonstrations on the value of our offerings to customers and to close sales.
Tracks progress and maintains effective, professional communication with all relevant internal and external stakeholders throughout the business development and sales cycle.
Networks with industry groups and professional organizations to establish the presence and reputation of the company.
Providing feedback to technical teams for new product development
Support Project/Account Management and after-sales support
Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
Developing quotes and proposals for clients
Develops and delivers effective presentations and demonstrations on the value of our offerings to customers and to close project.
Tracks progress and maintains effective, professional communication with all relevant internal and external stakeholders throughout the business development and project cycle.
المهارات
· Bachelor’s degree in business or management
· Minimum of 10 years’ experience mining and metal industry
· Preferable from an Engineering background with project management knowledge.
· Good knowledge on Middle east market mainly in UAE, Oman, Bahrain and Qatar.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Technical skills with proposal creation, finding solutions to client requirement
· Proficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
· Proven ability to plan and manage resources
· Experience with CRM software (i.e., Salesforce)
· Proven presentation, relationship building, and sales skills
· Resourceful, self-managed, and goal driven but still able to work effectively in a team
· Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit
· Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, and technical writing skills
