Looking for Payroll Officer
• Pro-actively manage, collate and input data accurately relating to monthly payments; additions, deductions and variables ensuring that staff are paid on time and receive the correct payments.
• Ensuring that multiple deadlines are adhered to and work is complete.
• Liaise proactively with team as required to ensure that all contractual changes are administered effectively and in line with payroll deadlines.
• Develop systems to process payroll transactions (e.g. salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions.
• Coordinate timekeeping and payroll systems
• Oversee processing of payroll changes (e.g. new hires, terminations, raises) and system upgrades
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies
• Supervise and coach payroll clerks and assistants
• Collaborate with accounts team
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports
• Resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions
Requirements and skills:
• Proven experience as a payroll manager or similar role
• Current knowledge of payroll procedures and related laws in UAE
• Excellent understanding of multi-location payroll
• Familiarity with payroll software/ HRIS (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics) and MS Office (especially Excel)
• A keen eye for detail
• An analytical mind and good math skills
• Outstanding communication skills (written and oral)
