Role Purpose:
The Senior Editorial & Content Executive will be responsible for developing, editing and reviewing content for all campaigns, editorials and blogs including Web, mobile and social media across Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle brands, bringing creativity and storytelling to articles, blogs, promotional materials, Web copy and press releases.
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:

Responsible for integrated content creation for MAF Lifestyle business ensuring MAF Lifestyle and respective brand standards are met at all times.
Full responsibility for the quality and content of the Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle brands websites, ensuring the site is engaging and up-to-date, liaising with approved third-party suppliers where necessary.
Maintain brand consistency and quality while facilitating the flow and publication of information on omni-channels including websites, apps and social media.
Absorb the creative brief from internal stakeholders and translate to successful media campaigns.
Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic.
Work with the Merchandising teams to understand product selections and key focus items and trends.
Optimize content according to SEO.
Write clear, engaging content with a distinct voice for digital and offline communication for MAF Lifestyle brands.
Develop and write content for ecommerce platforms, including but not limited to, blog, inspirational pages, collection descriptions and category pages.
Translate products and communication materials from English to classic Arabic and from Arabic to English.
Be the brand custodian, protecting brand standards and following brand guidelines.
Ensure compliance of all content published with relevant regional laws like copyright and data protection.
Comply with budget directives from the Director Marketing & Communications.
Ensure all copy communicates a consistent voice and style throughout all forms of communications adherent to all brand and Company guidelines tone of voice.
Contribute and support the business in achieving the Dare Today, Change Tomorrow sustainability strategy
Keep the customer profile in mind while reviewing / editing copy content.
Build rapport with internal marketing team to understand requirements and deliver final output in line with requirements.
Develop and maintain strong interpersonal relationships across functions to establish a keen understanding and support projection of the brands activities & launches.
Support in promoting sustainability initiatives to transform the lives of the community and contribute to the net positive impact, and health and wellness.

Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications / Education
Bachelors’ degree in relevant field
Proficiency in English and Arabic languages
Experience
6+ years’ proven work experience as a Copywriter, ideally in an editorial role with lifestyle publications
Familiarity with social media
