Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor

Opportunity for Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor - Cost Consulting Role.
Salary to 55K- 60K AED pm, plus healthcare and flights.
• The Senior QS MEP will be responsible for the overall commercial performance of the project commercial processes. Manage effective contract administration procedures and develop claims avoidance and mitigation strategies.
• Responsible for commercial procurement actions; reviewing, preparing and approving RFPs, conducting bid abstracts, conducting negotiations, preparing purchase orders and subcontract
• Monitoring and controlling the performance of contracted services,
• Post Contract Commercial and Cost Delivery of MEP Packages within the scope of the services.
• Ensuring the client’s commercial position is properly considered in all client and program management decision making;
• Coordinating on all matters concerning contract administration, claims, disputes, contract interpretation and cost analysis;
Candidates will need:
• 15 years Overall Experience, in `cost and commercial management.
• 5 years Middle East Experience
• experience in Airports and MEP packages for airports would be ideal
• Commercial and Project Cost Management, responsibility with quantifiable results in contract negotiation, administration.
• Strong background in cost reporting, variations, changes orders, and Contract administration On-site Construction Commercial management.
• Experience in procurement under FIDIC
• UAE experience essential.
• English must be first language/ for reporting and contractual terms interpretation.
• FIDIC Contracts essential.
