الوصف الوظيفي Strategy/Governance • Provides inputs in developing / updating / revising quality management policies and procedures Operational • Manage the quality assurance for all software development and ensure readiness to go live • Validates and approves test cases and test plans • Ensures testing tools are utilized appropriately • Manages the workload of the application assurance team and leads the day-to-day activities of the QA engineers and manages key stakeholder relationships within IT • Report bugs, create and provide metrics on bugs as they move through the bug cycle. • Report environment changes that effect clients (internal or external) to the management. • Update, oversee and train team on the knowledge base of code related problems and fixes. • Facilitate fixes through software development lifecycle. • Track where each bug is in the process and track bug trends; • Report turnaround times on all severities. • Track and monitor fixes and problems reported. • Create and manage Internal Release Notes. • Document test use scenarios and processes. • Train team on documentation of processes and scenarios • Handle diverse team of Quality Assurance specialists. • Assist continuous professional plans of QA team members. • Help in resource allocation and estimation efforts and delegate duties for routine activities. • Document and follow through issues determined for prompt resolution. • Stay available after hours for production, installation or customer support. • Assist QA environment team for quality and availability of QA test environment for each product. • Enhance QA methodology for test and defect management and tools supporting processes. • Track customer facing issues in customer support tracking tool. • Escalate unresolved issues for suitable customer support level. People and Talent Management • Set performance management objectives for all reportees and perform mid-year and year-end performance reviews. • Manage the team’s productivity to achieve the set KPIs and service levels. • Develop and coach the team to enhance their knowledge, skills, and performance. • Manage and resolve team conflicts. Stakeholder Management Build strong relationships and working collaboratively with internal/external stakeholders and customers to achieve objectives. المهارات Education • Degree: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent • Preferable professional certifications in software quality engineering and tools.
