A multinational company in the retail sector is looking for a Director of Retail in Dubai.
Job Location: Dubai
Requirement:
• Minimum 10 years in retail operations (foodservice experience beneficial but not essential)
• Demonstrated ability to lead large operations teams
• Intricate knowledge of retail operational processes and KPIs
• Strong English skills, written and spoken
• Knowledge of SAP an asset
Main accountabilities:
• Build and lead a robust and highly engaged Operations team of 500+
• Deliver outstanding customer service
• Ensure strong operational processes incl. logistics, customs interactions & loss prevention
• Drive and deliver store contribution by continuously optimizing all operational levers
• Continuously improve retail processes, offering and performance over the network
Business priorities:
• Become familiar with the company operating model, and complement as required
• Operational organizational chart & job descriptions
• Standard Operating Procedures and system (SAP/TCPOS) specifics
• KPIs and supporting tracking tools
• Store/platform opening plan
