Job Requirements:
• Applicant should hold a degree in Naval Architecture or a Masters in Naval Architecture or Ocean Engineering, Ocean Structures, or Ocean Technology
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
• The candidate should be able to carry out stability and related calculations and prepare the GA and technical specifications.
• Weight estimation, stability, scantling, resistance and powering, propulsion, tonnage, hydrostatics, and other naval architectural calculations must be covered.
• Preparation of class approval and statutory plans, knowledge of class rules, IMO, and flag state authority regulations (SOLAS, Lloyd’s, DNV, ABS, and IRS etc.).
• Background in offshore engineering with experience in structural analysis and the use of FEA software is desirable.
