Cost Accountant

We seeking to hire a Qualified ACWA / CA Finalist, minimum 3 years of working experience as Cost Accountant for manufacturing company
Ideal candidate shall be responsible for performing cost analysis and preparing budget reports. Should possess excellent analytical skills along with the ability to combine different data and calculate various information, create detailed reports that present cost-effective solutions. Build updated databases and manage cost information which assist to maximize profitability.
Responsibilities:
• Designing and implementing cost accounting systems
• Analyzing production costs and recommending changes
• Developing & Implementing cost standards for materials and labor
• Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies.
• budgeting reports (for the company and for each department)
• Prepare (monthly, quarterly, and annual) cost forecasts.
• Assisting in month-end and year-end closing
• Analyzing inventory valuations
• Monitoring unit cost variance
• Preparing cost of goods sold and production reports.
• Reconciling beginning raw materials, work-in-progress and finished-goods stock.
• Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions.
Requirements and skills:
• Proven work experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant or similar role.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures
• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Experience with accounting software. like ERP, SAP
• Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
• Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail Strong time management skills
• Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information.
• Effective communication, including writing, speaking and active listening
