Logistics and Freight Specialist

We are hiring Logistics and Freight Specialist to handle the company imports and exports affairs as well as customs documents following up.
Responsibilities
• Business-to-Business (B2B)/Business-to-Consumer (B2C) operations management.
• Contracts and shipping process.
• Consignor and Consignee management.
• Customs affairs and documents management.
• Distribution Network/supply chain management.
• Freight Documents management:
• Bill of Lading
• Commercial Invoice
• Packing List
• Certificate of Origin
• Inbound Logistics and Outbound Logistics.
• Order Picking and negotiations.
• Order Processing.
• Owner’s Risk management regarding to logistics affairs.
• Packaging and loading operations.
• Inventory.
• Negotiate prices with logistic companies/shipping companies and freight forwarders to ensure availing the best market rate.
• Co-ordinate with Emirates Customs and undertake all the required documents.
• Booking in deliveries and liaising with customers.
• Booking sub-contractors and ensuring they deliver within agreed terms.
• Handling shipment clearance.
• Racking and monitoring shipments to ensure on time delivery.
• Forward and follow-ups shipment invoices to accounts for payment.
• Develop reports on cargo movements and various operational logistics issues.
• Update stakeholders on the status of their shipments in transit.
Qualifications
• University Degree.
• Two years of experience at logistic companies in UAE is a must.
Skills and Knowledge:
• Good English oral and written communication skills.
• Work logic and systems understanding.
• Good level at computer Systems.
