Senior Accountant

aG Resources is looking for a Senior Accountant for our reputable client in Dubai.
Location: Dubai
Duration: 3 months renewable contract
We are looking for candidates who are locally available in Dubai.
Job Responsibilities:
• Coordinating accounting functions and programs.
• Preparing financial analyses and reports.
• Preparing revenue projections and forecasting expenditures.
• Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.
• Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
• Assisting with annual audit preparations.
• Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
• Preparing federal, state, local, and special tax returns.
• Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
• Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.
Requirements & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting/auditing
• Prefer experience with financial audit from a reputable accounting firm.
• Experienced and very comfortable with data analysis in MS Excel (i.e. pivot tables ,VLOOKUP etc.)
• Good understanding of accounting for multinational/multicurrency environment
• Experience with the use of financial systems (Sage 50 is what we use) to generate reports.
• Strong experience with account reconciliations (balance sheet & P&L;).
