We are looking for a Site Engineer who will be responsible for designing and overseeing construction projects, ensuring all trades are working to a set of standards. You will be working closely with the architects, designer, Engineers and other team members to plan the projects. You must have a strong background in Civil engineering and be able to work independently and efficiently.
Key responsibilities:
• Lead site engineering activities from initial planning stages through contract completion
• Develop engineering plans for construction, renovation, and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with government codes.
• Prepare estimates, as well as on-site visit reports and project progress reports.
• Monitor site operations and determine work progress.
• Oversee engineering, procurement, and construction.
• Track job progress, schedules, budgets, and staffing
• Assist in estimating feasibility and costs of various construction methods.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need.
• Mandatory UAE Experience and good knowledge in Technical and commercial part of Interior Fit Out/ Architectural Products.
• Review project drawings and specifications to gain full understanding of -project scope, client goals and expectations, and resource requirements for each phase of the project.
• Assist in soliciting and coordinating subcontractor and supplier bids for labor, material, work schedules, project negotiation on Payment terms and equipment.
• Should be experienced in handling the entire coordination of project related supplies, Local purchases, Logistics from project site inception stage to project completion.
• Must have worked at Interior project sites, Procurement planning, Project scheduling, Site / Project Engineering & Supervision, Records upkeep etc.
• Must be comfortable working offshore.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
• Must have UAE Valid Driving License
