Accountant

We are recruiting for an Accountant with a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in Tally ERP for a steel fabrication company in the UAE:
Education: B. com/M.com
Experienced Accountant to independently handle the following key responsibilities:
• Finalization of Accounts – MIS reports.
• Prepare monthly, analyse and interpret financial reports, statements and records (E.g. Balance sheets, profit and loss statements, amortization and depreciation schedules, etc.)
• Preparation of Cash flow, Bank Reconciliation, Income statement.
• Evaluate financial documents for accuracy and compliance with federal regulations.
• Experience of VAT management, calculation of input VAT, output VAT, Reconciliation at period close and proper filling of Tax, corporate tax and withholding tax.
• Manage accounts payable, receivables and ensure proper maintenance of vendor accounts, customer accounts and timely clearance of outstanding balances. Bank / Supplier/ Customer Reconciliations.
• Review of Payment, Receipt and Journal vouchers for proper booking to appropriate heads and projects.
• Job invoicing and closing.
• Monitoring of projects costs, progress billings and contract variations, preparing actual vs budget analysis and updating project cost forecasts on monthly basis to present to Management.
• Inventory count / Stock taking.
• Facilitate in external/internal financial audit and ensuring smooth completion of audit Process.

• Ability to reconcile complex accounts and have excellent attention to detail.
• Analytical and planning skills.
• Ability to interpret and analyse financial data.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
