Description:
• You will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the company’s IT systems and infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our technology resources to facilitate seamless operations.
• Provide technical support to end-users, both in person and remotely, for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
• Monitor the company’s network infrastructure, troubleshoot connectivity problems, and implement necessary solutions to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement security measures to safeguard company data and systems from potential threats.
• Conduct regular system backups and ensure data recovery procedures are in place.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and make recommendations for hardware and software upgrades.
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of servers, ensuring their smooth operation and high availability.
• Support employees in utilizing software applications and provide training when necessary.
• Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and manage procurement as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
• Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
• Participate in IT projects and initiatives to improve the overall IT infrastructure and operations.
• Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure efficient IT services and support.
Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Officer, IT Support Specialist, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
• Familiarity with network protocols and troubleshooting techniques.
• Any relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) will be an advantage.
